Welcome to AFC Lightning’s online registration home page for all BOYS’ teams. The online registration process has been updated and streamlined, so please read the instructions below carefully before proceeding. Also please read the instructions that appear on each page as you proceed through the registration process.
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD TO REGISTER, AND YOU HAVE BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ONLY REGISTER THE BOYS ON THIS SITE. YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG OUT AND GO TO THE OTHER SITE TO REGISTER THE GIRLS.
TO BEGIN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, PLEASE CLICK ON THE REGISTRATION TAB AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE. You will be asked to select either a Player registration or an Admin registration. Once you have made your selection, you will be asked to enter your User Name and Password if you have an account with Georgia Soccer, or you will be asked to create a new account if you do not already have one.
Please remember that, if you are creating a new account, you will create a parent profile or profiles first, then you will add your children. If you are creating an account for the first time and have both boys and girls, you may enter all your children at the same time, but you may only register the BOYS on this site. If you do have an account, but do not remember your user name or password, please contact Sue Eutermoser. Do not create a new account with new profiles. Also, please make a note of your user name and password, and if your personal information changes during the course of the seasonal year, please update your profile.
You should have received a Player Assignment Code from either Dan Esmond or your coach. You must enter that Assignment Code when directed in order to proceed with the registration process. Next, you will be asked to accept the Liability Waiver. From there you will be directed to the Registration Payment screen.
This year, you will be able to pay by credit card or by echeck. We will accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You can elect to pay the full amount, or you can select the Payment Plan option. For players U9-U14, you will make one payment at the time of registration, then four more bimonthly payments the first of every other month. For those players U15-U19, you will make one payment at the time of registration, then three more monthly payments the first of every month. If you will be playing with a U15-U19 Elite team, please select the U15-U19 Elite fee of $180, which will be added to your first payment. If you are playing with an Elite team, and do not select the Elite Fee, the $180 payment will be billed to your credit card when I check the team rosters. Also, if you live outside Fayette County, the county is requiring us to collect a $5 out of county fee. That fee will be added by the system.
If you would like to make a donation to AFC Lightning, you may choose that option on your Payment Order, and choose the amount that you would like to donate. AFC Lightning is a 501 (c) (3) corporation, so any donations made to AFC Lightning are tax deductible.
If you choose to pay the entire fee by cash or check directly to the club, instead of selecting payment by credit card or echeck, you can deduct $50 from your fee total. If you make that choice, you can just close the registration site when you get to the Payment portion of the registration process, and contact Sue for further instructions.
At the end of the process, when you are prompted to print forms, please print the medical release form and the player parent agreement form. Once you have completed the forms, please give them to your team manager. However, if you are asked to print a registration form and mail it to the registrar, disregard that request.
